I vaguely remember me and Tani dancing and playing together, and myself being so happy to be around such a handsome cool guy.
I wish I could have grown up with him by my side – he could have been the best uncle ever!

Dear Maggie and Jerry,
We will join you on Zoom. Hard to believe it’s already 19 years. Tani is probably looking down on us wondering what a strange world we are living in and BSD’ he is shedding some desperately needed light upon us in this dark world.
Thank you for the Zoom invitation.
With love and longing too,
Gerri and Yaacov

Dear Goodman family,
I want you to know that I often think about Tani and his inspiration.
As a Bronfman, he really brought people together and was the model of a thoughtful leader. We all flocked to him because we so appreciated his deep and firm sense of values, and the joy he took in living them each and every day.
These days I am an oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. I spend about half my time seeing patients and the other half doing research on better cures. Covid has made it hard to see other Bronfmanim in person, but I hope that there will be opportunities to unite and share memories soon. When the world is safer, I am also hoping to return to Israel to visit my cousins (the Cayam family, who knew and looked up to Tani from Hartman). Of course, if you ever find yourself in the NY area, please do get in touch.
Sending warm regards,
Yonina

Dear Maggie, Jerry and Goodman family
We have made a donation in memory of Tani z”l to the bar/bat mitzvah project for the children at the Jerusalem Hills. This is in the tradition of Tani z”l who always helped others less fortunate than himself. May his good deeds and the inspiration to others always keep his memory alive.
