“Gdud Natan” Regiment

The “Gdud Natan” scouts regiment was named for Tani. At the time of Tani’s death, this “Gdud” was about to receive its name, a tradition which is carried on by the scouts till today. In March of 2002, at the birthday celebration of the Masuot Troop, this group of youngsters was given the name “Natan” honoring Netanel (Tani) Goodman. These scouts continued through grade school and high school, proudly carrying the name of “Natan” and remembering Tani throughout their careers as members of the Masuot Scouts Troop.

The photograph above was taken during the “Gdud Natan” naming ceremony in March of 2002. The writing in fire says “We will remember you forever”.
